Hi, I'd go with the Philips 328E1CA when it comes back into stock. It is typically around $320 when in stock. It comes with a 4-year warranty, which is a very nice addition. It is a 4K 32" VA display.
Thanks for the quick response. I am now thinking about getting that Samsung monitor.!I was also thinking of getting this Benq Monitor. Is the Benq monitor also a good choice or should I stick to the Samsung for reliability?
thanks! i ended up with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09R26XXFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 ($248 without tax)
i’m not sure why the price is pretty low. it seems that it’s even lower than the 144hz version although this is a 170hz. i shall post it here for anyone else looking for a non curved 27 inch 1440 monitor! also i think it’s selling very fast so be quick if you’re in the market for a new monitor!

I would go with the: MSI Full HD FreeSync Gaming Monitor 24" Curved Non-Glare 1ms Led Wide Screen 1920 X 1080 144Hz Refresh Rate (Optix G24C),Black/Red
Or
This will get the job done.
Budget: <$200, prefer <$150
Country: USA
Screen size: <= 22"
Screen resolution: 1080p is fine
Touch screen: Absolutely not
Weight: The lighter the better
Other info: Prefer IPS and a thin bezel, and I plan to order two.
Example of one I've been looking at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N5MG9LP?psc=1

Keeps saying I used a link shortener which isn't true. So had to separate it
It seems the Amazon link is the problem even though it's the full length.

I ended up going with this Acer Monitor.
Shelling out an additional $10/monitor for 4k instead of 2k seemed like a no-brainer.
They worked great for about a week, then my house flooded and now I can't use my office.
Purchase monitors advice
Stuck between 2 options
the LG 32GK650F
https://www.amazon.com/LG-32GK650F-B-Monitor-FreeSync-Technology/dp/B07FLGR2PN
And the Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor - S3220DGF
https://deals.dell.com/en-us/productdetail/8ee2
Note that Dell will cost a bit more, and ill have to wait a month to receive it, while the LG i can in a few days.
Is it worth it?
Thank you!
So I found the product on Amazon and the reviews didn’t look to hot. Some of them were even posted this last month. I ended up pulling the trigger on this instead.
Budget: ~$650 CAD (~$500 USD)
Country: Canada
Screen size: 27"
Screen resolution: 2560x1440
Touch screen: No
Weight: Not my biggest concern, but my monitor arm says it can hold up to 14.3 lbs. I would definitely be willing to ditch the arm for the right monitor though.
Some other requirements I have:
Refresh Rate: 144+ Hz
Variable Refresh Rate: G-SYNC
HDR: Very much preferred.
Panel Type: IPS is definitely preferred.
Response Time: 1ms GTG preferred, but not a hard requirement.
I have a GTX 970, so I would like the monitor to work with G-SYNC. I know that the 10-series and newer NVIDIA cards can work with some Freesync monitors, but unfortunately the 9-series cards cannot.
If nothing in my budget fits these requirements, I'm willing to compromise in the following order: Response, time, panel type (can be VA), and then HDR.
Here are two that I've been looking so far:
Lastly, I'm not 100% sure that the ASUS monitor will work with G-SYNC on my 970, for the same reason as the above paragraph - it says it's compatible, but it's not certified.
Thanks for the suggestions & advice!
From appearances, these looks like a great deal. I am tempted, but i can't, so wanted to tell someone instead. 20 hours left on sale.
Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor - AW2518Hf, Full HD @ Native 240 Hz

Touch screen: Nerp
Weight: Irrelevant

I'm actually looking for two separate monitors, one for my mom (she's 64), and one for me. I mainly do schoolwork, but am prone to Dead by Daylight and a few other FPS games. I have a 1050ti in this desktop, and am not sure if that is relevant. The other monitor would be for a laptop she's been using, but it's a little hard on her eyes with how small the screen is -- around 13" I believe. I'm going cross-eyed looking at the pros, cons, availability, reliability, and compatibility of all the monitors I've found. Any help is appreciated.
I've been looking at these with growing interest.
Budget: Around $300
Country: USA
Screen size: 27"
Screen resolution: 1440p 144hz
Touch screen: No
Weight: Doesn't matter
I was looking at the Pixio PX277 Prime and VIOTEK GFV27DAB Is there a clear cut winner between these two?
Hi, I think that there are two solid options in this price range. The new Gigabyte G34WQC is solid, and the AOC CU34G2X is also a good choice. Both are 34" 1440p 144Hz VA panels. The AOC monitor is typically lower, $450 or so.
I'm not quite sure what kind of glow you're referring, but I have a VA ultrawide monitor myself and I tend to play games at 16:9 and the experience is great.
Hi, although it is not pre-calibrated, the Pixio PX275h is a solid monitor that strikes a balance between refresh rate, resolution, and color gamut coverage. 27" 1440p IPS 95% DCI-P3 95Hz.
Hi, at this price point, I think that the BenQ GW2480 is always a good choice for a 1080p 24" display. For a 27" 1440p monitor, the ViewSonic VA2719 would be my recommendation.
Ah, so it seems like it is the Gen 7 version. So, it does look like you can connect a portable monitor with one cable.
Chinese brands that aren't well known dominate the portable monitor market... for example, you can get a 13.3" 1440p portable monitor for $120, but the brand is virtually unknown. There are lots of 13.3" 1440p portable monitors on the market, and they likely use the same panel.
A much more well known company like ASUS will be more expensive. Their 1080p 14" portable monitor is $230.
Hi, I think that there is 2 viable options. The PS4 only supports 60Hz, so I would go with a 4K 60Hz IPS monitor like the Philip 278E1A. On the other hand, if you want to future proof for the PS5, which will support 120Hz refresh rate, I'd go with the AOC CQ27G1 which is a 1440p 144Hz VA monitor.
I think that its competitor is the LG 27GL83A-B, and it has some advantages. It has better speakers and a higher HDR certification (HDR400), but the LG has a sleeker design and better DCI-P3 coverage.

Any idea what would be $40 better about the Viewsonic XG2402 besides just being the newer model? It says "24 inch Color-x" on the amazon page for the 2402.
