I believe you’re looking for the Dremel shaft tool. I used a diamond bit and wet sanding bit for the channel. MGB has some good videos on channel removal. https://www.amazon.com/Dremel-225-01-Flex-Shaft-Attachment/dp/B0000302Y8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1ID4ITXWAWP7&keywords=dremel+shaft&qid=1658724096&sprefix=dremel+sh%2Caps%2C143&sr=8-3

Give this a try. I picked up one a while ago and was surprised with the quality/quantity for the price.
Mobil 1 Synthetic High Mileage motor oil if it rotates or springs. A drop or so goes a long way; get a precision applicator on the cheap
High Temperature Heavy Duty Synthetic Grease if it slides. This can will last you for about 10 years.
Non- chlorinated brake cleaner for heavy duty cleaning, mineral spirits for mid-level, and a nylon brush and clean rags for light cleaning.
These and a dremmel will save you much frustration and time. Buy different grits. Best thing I've found for cleaning the rough bits.

That makes sense as that sleeve is probably for a 17 if we're being generous. Tbh the engineering is probably minimal.
However look at the Hogue, no mag release interference on either side. https://www.amazon.com/Hogue-17050-HandAll-Beavertail-Sleeve/dp/B07H3GCGZZ#customerReviews
Hogue's also softer and more grippy rather than hard slippery Chinesium silicone.
