Here's an entertaining tidbit I got from researching AdEx after your inquiry. In their direction statement, AdEx Ambira mentions that their team originally had a hard time having to juggle many crypto wallets/apps/tools for the AdEx platform so they decided to make their own wallet instead. I'm not sure if this caused the rebrand as well LOL
But NGL if the main point of the wallet is to make a more accessible wallet that their staff could also use, then it might not be that bad of an idea to stake post-rebrand.
You said you haven't read our WhitePaper, I encourage you to check it out as it will answer your questions, please comment if you still have questions. https://www.adex.network/adex/AdEx-Whitepaper-v.7.pdf Thank you :)

Roadmap is in their whitepaper on their website... If you don't know why are you holding this is because you must be doing something wrong!
Here's the link: https://www.adex.network/adex/AdEx-Whitepaper-v.7.pdf
Have a good day and thanks for commeting!
We're focusing on higher quality publishers like stremio.com rather than high impression numbers. Plus, with the re-focus on newer formats, impression formats will have a different meaning: https://www.adex.network/blog/adex-2022-roadmap/
Hey there,
The wallet is launched in private beta - if you want early access, you can sign up from this page: https://www.adex.network/wallet/.
As for the monthly report, we had a planning issue and weren’t able to publish it but the reports will be back the first week of September.
Last but not least - thank you for supporting AdEx, we appreciate it!
Hello and thank you for the comment. You are not wrong about the usability of the channel, yet you are wrong about the bots. We are currently running a huge $10,000 Airdrop campaign on CoinMarketCap, read more here: https://www.adex.network/blog/adx-airdrop-on-coinmarketcap/
Because of the campaign we are overloaded with new people coming onboard and showing "some activity" by posting hi and hello. After the airdrop ends tomorrow (31.07) the noise in the channel will lower and we will quickly get back to normal discussions. In the meantime if you want less from that in the nearest days, I recommend you starting a discussion in our Discord channel, where you will easily find people to communicate with. Of course, you can always write here as well or in any other social media we have exposure on.

Looking forward to meeting you online for some quality AdEx talks.
We've just announced a big milestone: our first governance proposal is live, and it is exactly about the 2021 Staking rewards:
We're not competing with them, we're just adding DeFi features to our own product which remains focused on advertising.
The DeFi features are: flash loans built into ADX to help arbitrage, and additional ADX rewards to incentivize staking, which improves the security of our validator network

I thought all ad networks would need to track by design however doing a bit of a cursory search revealed AdEx. I'm not sure how good they are or if they sound right for you but a quick look into their faq says they don't collect user data.
Other than that I'd probably suggest patreon or something like that. Ads aren't the most lucrative thing in the world and you'll potentially fare better with the patreon/donation or even a combination model if you're going to get decent traffic.
This is almost entirely a speculative article, but if you wanted to try to give it a shot this is one of the exchanges mentioned:
From a cursory overview, it looks worthless to me, at least at this stage.
There are some companies already playing around with blockchain and ads. As an example here is one that works with ethereum: https://www.adex.network/
>Do you have any thoughts?
We are literally at the very early stages of this technological development. Good time to get in, but I expect to see a lot of failures before it catches on.
Thoughts on ADX?
Decentralised Adverts. My first time doing research, team seems solid, product makes sense and i do think there will be a demand for it.
No working product as of yet, like most of these but dont look too bad tbf
AdEx (ADX) - the ADX token will be used for trading advertising property rather just for governance, and will thus be easier for advertisers and publishers to understand and adopt. Page 14
Within the AdEx ecosystem, the AdEx token (ADX) will be used internally to buy or sell advertising space and time. Advertisers would be able to create ads, and then place bids for them, setting the bid in ADX token. The advertisers may bid for a specific number of impressions, clicks or conversions (e.g. sign-ups, purchases, etc.). Once the Publisher accepts a bid, the token will be frozen until the Publisher proves that they have completed the goal. When that happens, the token is transferred to the Publisher’s balance. Certain actions within the network would be incentivized by the creation of additional tokens, which will be received by whomever committed that action. This will ensure slow, on-demand inflation of the token so that there’s enough in circulation for the network to be healthy and usable. Page 15

It's beta doesn't get released until Jan 30 2018 at the earliest, so it is too early to tell.
Georgiev and Sotyanov did well with Stremio, so they have solid vision behind their team (and are much less likely to produce a real product post-beta).
I have no idea why it is pumping so hard now, but I think Adex is likely to be rather cheap through the end of the year and would be a better investment to buy into around begin of Jan.
