I have the same unlimited storage that you have through my University gmail. However, for me this was actually useless for Plex Cloud. This is because the University is the owner of all the accounts through a GSuite subscription and with all their mighty power they decide to disable drive API access. This is used by Plex (obv) so if they are restricting this for you also, your media will NEVER show up in Plex. Sad. I end up keeping my core data off of that drive as the University is the owner and has access to all that media. Also its safe in-case the University decides to wipe drives a certain number of years after activation or something like that(totally possible). In the end, I subscribed to GSuite plan so I control my own content, have API access and unlimited storage for just $10 a mo/ which is really nothing for unlimited... I also recommend http://www.airexplorer.net/en/index.php for managing your uploads, then with the GSuite you can also mount it as a drive on your desktop for easy access.
