It has actually become a lot less common recently and it looks like most of the examples I had in mind have finally fixed it, but it still crops up from time to time. For example: if you look at some of the Angry Birds game pages (such as Rio) you can see that they list Android and iOS, but there is absolutely no mention of Windows Phone.
Similarly, check out the Photobucket app page and you will see no mention of Windows Phone despite there being an official app. This used to be a lot more common... It's good that there have been improvements, but it's ridiculous that it still happens at all.

I looked through the different AB Seasons Pig Day levels and I could not find one in which you shoot wooden balls. There are 2 levels in Pig days that I know of that uses pigs on the slingsshot: level 2-6 (level 21) and level 4-10 (level 54). It could possibly be a golden egg level, but I don’t think it was in pig days.
