Did you see something I don't? I haven't signed up, but I found their pricing page here (at header on the homepage before signing up): https://arcweave.com/pricing
Free with project / attachment limitation seems reasonable to me. Whats your qualm with it?
To the OP, I recommend having another link to your pricing in your footer. Same with privacy policy and TOS. It'd help users decide if they want to use your product more :)
Unless there's another pricing model page somewhere, this page (https://arcweave.com/pricing) is clearly accessible from the homepage before you sign up.
If this wasn't a beta, I would agree that a 'Free' and 'Contact Us' option would be bad practice, but for a beta, I don't see that as an issue. They're looking for people to test it out, not use it as a full production tool just yet.
I've been using a combination of google spreadsheets, Trello boards, and draw.io / yED graph editor for visual GDD scripting for more than 7 years now.
I've recently discovered https://arcweave.com/ which is also a fantastic tool for visual scripting, and it can be used for free, but by a limited number of team members.
Many of these tools are free to use, so hopefully, this helps. My studio has focused mostly on the combination of these tools, depending on the type of project we're working on, but we mostly use spreadsheets with some kind of graph editor. When we work on more complex projects, then we focus on tools like arcweave and so on. Hopefully, this helps you at least a bit. Cheers!
Arcweave has an in-app play mode that allows you to run your project and share it with others. It does not create a standalone game—if you mean one that you can share as a file. Arcweave projects run only from its servers.
For example, try this.
I am the co-founder of Arcweave, a node-based browser-based tool to create and share game designs and interactive stories online. I would suggest giving it a try as it is very visual, easy to learn and has a free tier: You might be able to create your full interactive story yourself.
Additionally, we recently uploaded some YouTube tutorials. You can spend a few mins there first to see if it fits your needs :)

With the option of multiple business models Arcweave is perfectly suited to indie developers, startups and AA gaming companies alike.

You may also want to take a look at Arcweave, an online tool we created to facilitate story branching and dialogues. It is highly visual, supports components, multiple boards, project sharing and export to .JSON among other features.
