Quite a few, I think it's in part because of how online orientated the furry fandom is, if it's mostly online it's going to attract teckie people.
The creator of Azuracast is a furry. Also the developer of ModernDeck is a furry, but I'm just naming friends!
ahaha makes more sense. I used azuracast which was hosted on DigitalOcean.
Setup wasn't difficult but it certainly had limitations; couldn't quite get it into a place where I was happy to go public with it. Styling was limited, there was no means of adding a donate link or a line of text. I couldn't mask the IP address either so it'd look a bit shady to anyone visiting 178.62.67.22/public/on_road_radio.
But it did work; and worked well. In hindsight I wish I had just shared it here before I stopped paying for it. Not like anyone will care much about an ip address when they just want to bang on some grime.
As I understand it, icecast is for live streaming, no? Like a radio? We use AzuraCast now for our private radio. We like it but we'd like to listen to different songs on our apps.
If icecast can be used to stream individual song request, that would be great.
Thanks!
Azuracast is nice. It lets you setup your own streaming music stations and lets the listeners request music from the playlist. See an example here https://www.azuracast.com/about/#live-demo or an embedded example here https://radiobook.live.
