It should link to the appropriate site with prefilled nationality and destination for example Croatia -> US is this basetrip link (https://www.thebasetrip.com/en/united-states-travel-information?from=croatia) which leads to this VisaHQ link (https://united-states.visahq.com/requirements/croatia/). However, if VisaHQ doesn't have that country it will redirect to home page. Otherwise, it's a bug and will check it out. Thanks for the report!
Regarding the positioning, yeah, quite a few people requested it to be on the top so'll I'll probably push it further up ;)
I'd say that the transliteration of phrases will more often than not tends to be less useful because how the tones are all inevitably messed up.
But definitely the part of not disrespecting King and Buddha must be emphasized if one wants to stay out of trouble.
There is a website with quite comprehensive info and tells you the difference btween your own country with the destination. https://www.thebasetrip.com great for new countries in comparing and understanding things to do.
Malta is not that cheap, at least not when we spent a few days there three years ago. Someone posted this informative link yesterday, here's a comparison between prices in Malta and Thailand. Can't speak for the sites accuracy, but it definitely gets close to how I remember prices in those two countries.

So Europe is travellable by train, you could be interested by Interail which lets you travel by train in selected countries, so you could do UK, France, Spain by train for example.
Another useful site is the base trip which provides you information on a lot of factors you might forget to consider. This could also let you choose the less expensive destination
Don't hesitate to inform yourself through your ministry of foreign affairs equivalent (I don't know what bureau or office Americans use), the thingy that gives you advices on where you travel.
TheBaseTrip used to show extremely detailed and well presented information about a country you're visiting in comparison to your home. Stuff like the price of average meals, wall plug type, crime rates, public transport, etc. Would be great if anyone had a good alternative to that.
I remember https://www.thebasetrip.com/en where they had a list of good travel information including stuff like recommended vaccinations, plug types, weather, crime rates, average food/accom prices all well presented in one page. Shame they turned it into a paid site now. I've been trying to find an alternative but haven't been successful for a long time now.
Um..not sure what you're looking for exactly. However, there are two sites I always recommend for trip planning: TheBaseTrip and AllTheRooms
