I don't have a CRM, per se. Been using various gmail plug-ins, Streak + Boomerang + Rapportive. I basically kludged it all together over the last few years, and I've outgrown it. Time for new shoes!
My business is info products and consulting off a blog platform, so basically, I want to be able to actually see the people who respond, ask questions, etc the better to shepherd them through the sales funnel. Right now, I need someone to actually buy something from me before they trigger a targeted upsell/cross-sell situation. Partly this is because of time, and partly because I just lack the ability to really visualize that data.
Batchbooks has something called Champions where they basically score your subscribers/followers, so that you handhold the people who are doing the most for you, but it's not quuiiite what I'm going for.
Basically, now that I've finally hammered out some decent funnels, and sales processes, I'm in a position to optimize, and I'm on a "What gets measured gets managed" kick. I want to measure the average $ dollar transaction per customer, the length of time from subscribership to buying products, and from there to buying services, and a few other things.
I'm not any kind of a coder, so I'm pretty limited in that respect-- right now Batchbooks or NimbleCRM is looking like the best option, but before I invested a bunch of time duct-taping something together, I figured I'd poll the audience and see if anyone had better ideas.
Is this enough info?
