I'm currently stuck in the same/similar loop. ANY password manager is going to be better than none, so it comes down to what will work for your specific use-case(s). My better half continues to use LastPass, but after 2-3 years of mostly ignoring it (except for the rare event that i would specifically share a password directly within LP, forcing her to utilize it for media streaming, etc)... i would prefer her to have something, rather than nothing. Someday I'll get everyone converted over to Bitwarden. I can't go back to LP (for a number of reasons, some technical, some political, some economical) but i'm not going to discourage someone else from using whatever works best for them. My requirements are different than my S.O. -- in the mean time, I can use Bitwarden Send or Signal messenger app to share things securely.
I personally use Bitwarden Send[0] for those situations where allowing the users to log into pfSense to download their bundles directly isn't viable for whatever reason.
According to https://bitwarden.com/products/send/ all clients should have it. However apart from the vault I am not seeing it anywhere else (browser extension, app). Perhaps they are still rolling it out.
