So, you will need to install the new HDD in your computer (along with the old one), then use a program like "EaseUS Disk Copy" or "HDClone" to clone the old HDD into the new one, and then remove the old HDD. The contents of new one will be identical to that of the old one; just copying the files wouldn't do.

But maybe you would like to perform a fresh install of everything and get rid of all the crap that may be present in your current system.
ADD: If you have an external HDD case to install one of your HDDs it would be easier, and it would be, in fact, necessary if you have a notebook.
All is not lost!
You can get a replacement drive(or better yet an SSD) for a pretty decent price, and use HdClone to move all of your data to the new drive.
Alternatively you can take it to a repair shop, where they'll probably do the above for you with $40+ labor attached
Alternatively you can just replace the drive. You will need a copy of windows, which you can create using the windows media creation tool.
It just comes down to how much you care about the data on the drive. HdClone is probably the simplest/cheapest option.
Yes, there are several options for cloning an entire disk to a new one. My preferred solution is HDClone. I have a copy of the Enterprise Edition but the free edition should work too.
HD Clone free is simple to use. Simple. Exe installs to your Computer and the EXE will create the bootable USB for you. Boot into USB, select Source drive, select target. All GUI based.
We have been using HDClone for maybe years for cloning of dying hard drives and also converting from the spinning rust to SSDs, never had an issue and offers lots of great tools besides cloning.
