TM has been seemingly inactive for years now. Kod looks promising: http://kodapp.com/ Sadly the main developer for Kod seems to have been busy with: work/other projects/or lost interest for the time being.
Try Vim or Emacs if you like using the command line. If you want something more graphic, try Kod. It's just an editor though, and you will still have to compile and debug from the command line.
I wouldn't suggest purchasing Espresso. It's pretty much considered abandonware at this point (along with CSSEdit). Coda 2 is still in the works, but Panic hates giving its customers any sort of timeline or what's been accomplished. Slowly regretting my Coda purchase because I see other editors offering so much more.
Kod showed promise, but it seems like it's been abandoned as well.
Honestly, I'm dying for a Cocoa-based IDE or editor that doesn't scare me as much as Xcode does.
