Winslow answered on MBH. He said there is an app that will do harmonica tabs from midi files.
I've used Myriad Melody Assistant for about 20 years for manual note entry. It's not really suitable for engraving, though, Myriad has a separate, more expensive product for that (Harmony Assistant). I tried switching to MuseScore but had already gotten too comfortable with the Myriad product. I'm not even sure I could easily switch to Finale or Sibelius at this point.
Another tool I'll mention, not necessarily because I recommend it but because i searched the archives and didn't see any references to it, is Lilypond. It's somewhat like LaTeX in that you write text files and compile it to some other output such as PDF. You can do high-quality engraving with it and it's Free Software, but has a serious learning curve for anything sophisticated.
Not the best program, but melody assistant might help -- its staves can handle both grid and score notation -- not sure about importing and exporting ot something like Fruity Loops.
