I understand, but in both of my linked examples, the screenplay scripts and the coding scripts are one and the same. I don’t think there’s a standard for writing dialog scripts in the pre-coding stage; as long as the script is understandable, then it can be adapted for an engine at a later time.
I have heard of some people using planning software to manage complicated branching paths. Maybe look into Chat Mapper or Mind Mapple.
