Difference is, kings generally came to power because their family was steeped in political culture of the day, or they had some sort of mass appeal and probably a good military mind. Not always of course. But trump is so far out of his depths when it comes to affairs of state it is insulting to the office of the president in a way that W's idiocy looks quaint by comparison.
