we support alpha software in certain situations, right now we have Oil Rush as a pre-order in the software centre, you get alpha builds once you order the pre-order.

OilRush is a great game with lots of development work going on. They're still working on it so it's not yet stable, but you can pre-purchase it now and help them out with bug reports while running beta versions.
Oil Rush uses the engine so I'm not so sure that it is synthetic any-more. That said the Heaven benchmark is a 3d rpg or platformer setting and Oil Rush is strategy and they look to be a rather different sort of work load so who knows?
