The automation seems very convenient but unfortunately that only exists on play store and not on F-Droid, though you could download the APK from its site. I tried it on CopperheadOS but weirdly it automatically added or ticked Email without me doing it. Also if you want to enable it, it will say (don't know if it's only on CopperheadOS):
