I would suggest you try aquasnap. It's not a dynamic tiller like i3 where the second you open an app, it splits the windows on its own. So you would have to drag the windows manually but it's much better than native windows snapping. It supports tilling, snapping, stretching, making any window stay on top and a bunch more options.
It's free for personal use. Highly suggested in few other threads in this subreddit only.

Otherwise if dynamic tilling is big on your list, then try plumb. Also AWM. I think it's more well known. Though I have not personally used it. (They are free for personal use aswell)
This is bumping an older post, but I feel like this could be worth OP's time.
These are a couple tools I used on Windows 7 ages ago to achieve tiling and layouts for my windows. Neither of these is a parallel for a tiling WM or something like other users posted, these are simpler versions of achieving layouts and forced tiling.
Window tiling (your mileage may vary depending on the program): Plumb
Window layout management: WiLMa
I used to use this on my Winderps box to tile windows, but it has awful management with some programs.

Edit: But then again, so does i3. I guess some tiling is better than no tiling.
