Before making a large commitment, I'd try out programming, and see if it is something you enjoy and have an aptitude for. There's a large number of online resources for it. One easy way to get started is Progate, which offers interactive courses. I reviewed their introductory course and thought it was pretty well done.
Learn to code. I've been struggling with depression lately and coding has been the best to help take my mind off things. There are plenty of websites that offer free tutorials (I use https://progate.com). Not only does it help me distract myself, but it also gives me a little confidence boost knowing that I'm learning something interesting.
This looks useful for someone who has already learned some Python or another programming language, but not for a getting a grasp of the general concepts behind programming and the parts of Python that are different from other languages. Also, the interface is not very good, imho.
I've been using this site called Progate recently and it's been working well for me. There is a mobile app, so I can review while I'm on the bus.
Anyway, thanks for making this!
Well, among the free and cheap services out there, this is the best I've found so far: https://progate.com/languages
I was a Computer Science major in university. And that was great, but it took a lot of time and money. I learned a lot more than just how to "code" - but I do question whether or not it was worth it.
