What is Reddit's opinion of PTC Creo?

You mentioned in another comment that you're using Creo... So, why not use Creo View for this purpose? (Or, for more in depth work instructions, Creo Illustrate.) There is even a free version your vendors can use.

I agree with other commenters, 3D PDF is not worth the trouble. Interface is too clunky. (And lighting sucks; models look horrible.) Adobe doesn't even sell software to create these files anymore; 3rd party is only option.
