I will use Little Snitch or HandsOff with a bit of caution. Both of them are same in operation. I used to use Little Snitch but moved to HandsOff recently (got an inexpensive license from BundleHunt).
The reason to use it with caution is that it might block internet access for some processes that you would want to have access. Some examples are gamed and akd (system processes). These are required for connection to App Store and iCloud. So please be aware of what you block and what you do not.
If you want an easy to use interface you might want to try out Radio Silence . I have not used it personally but it looks easy to use and it has a free trial.
> You usually have to disable updates and play around in terminal to block all the connections Adobe tries to make to your computer etc. It's a bit of a hassle.
I use this program to prevent Adobe apps from phoning home to the mothership:
Little Snitch is worth it if you're using lots of different apps from different sources. Or you generally wanna control which apps are using the network. It's a very good firewall. But there are several others.
If you only wanna check which apps try to phone home, use this free tool:

When I try some new app and it wants to connect to the network for no reason, I just trash it.
This app called Radio Silence also looks like a good contender without the annoyance of the UI on Little Snitch.
I wonder if anyone has any feedback on it? Maybe this warrants a new thread...
If anyone does this regularly like I do converting AM songs to my own copies, I use Radio Silence for Step 2. You can essentially cut off iTunes network connection, but continue browsing the web if need be.
Bonus is that you can still browse Apple Music catalog through iTunes, with no fear of premature uploads.

Looks like you have Radio Silence installed from https://radiosilenceapp.com, and it's causing Kernel panics. You should make sure you're using the latest version, and if you are, you may need to remove it and/or contact the developer.
Hi, i dont know id people are still struggling with this issues but following some of the replies already here, i installed https://radiosilenceapp.com/ and then simply blocked the systemextr.app, this added it to the firewall section of the app, i then reloaded the ps4remoteplay app and it has not lagged or come up with the slow network icon at the top etc so this seems to have helped, be carefull blocking anything on the app though as i had googled this before i blocked it as it had racked up a few connection requests quite quickly, anyway, i hope this helps anyone.
Ok I installed PS 22.4.3, Premiere pro 15.4 using this on my M1. Here are the steps -
1) Download creative cloud from https://creativecloud.adobe.com/en/apps/download/creative-cloud
2) To download your desired apps, click 'Try Now' under the name of the apps from the 'Apps' section.
3) Meanwhile the app is downloading, download Adobe zii 6.1.5 from https://upload.adobezii.com/index.php?dl=3c07907a79d0238d681ff9fe85afc52e
4) After the Adobe application downloads, run Zii installer. Left click on Adobe zii 6.1.5 and click on 'Open'. Click on open when an unidentified source permission pops up.
5) Locate the Adobe application which you want to patch from Applications folder. Drag the app on the Adobe zii window.
6) Enter your macbook password when prompted for root permission.
7) Download radio silence from https://radiosilenceapp.com/download and block network access to creative cloud so that apps cannot be updated. After this, your application should be good and running.
Note - My apps were running flawlessly without blocking network access to them. But if you face any sort of issue, then block access to the downloaded Adobe apps in radio silence along with creative cloud. My applications were running successfully using this procedure. If you face any issues, reply to this post or PM me and I will try my best to help.
Use EasyFind from omnigroup (free) to search the Mac OS volume for every file that has Ableton in its name (there’s radio buttons on the left, make sure it’s on ‘files and folders’ and ‘all words’) and trash those. Don’t trash your .zip or .dmg of the installer though :)
Re install, but before launch use first Radio Silence (https://radiosilenceapp.com) to cut Ableton connection to internet. There’s a serial for this app in SerialBox.
If that helped you, give the money to a charity of your choice.
I noticed your edit, I had to do this quite a bit when I was remaking my library. If anyone else has to do this a lot, I ended up getting a license for Radio Silence. I would add iTunes to the list, turn on the app, and it would disable network connections for iTunes. When I was happy with my edits just turned it off and updated iCloud library. Worked great. Just in case anyone sees this and they're doing it a lot, hope it helps!
