From SalamWeb's site:
> We comply > We are the world’s first Shariah certified web browser and digital ecosystem endorsed by Amanie Shariah Supervisory Board. In conformity with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation’s (MDEC) Islamic Digital Economy Mi’yar.
This site aims to tell people what content is good or bad, has government connections, and is being used in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Red flags are flying.
This idea has been floating around for a while .. and ther are some already in the market .. you can research them and find ways to do better.. Eg SalamWeb - SalamWeb browser for desktop and mobile
Asalaam, you might consider looking at Salamweb.com which is a web browser for Muslims that attempts to take away the filth on the internet :)
I posted a month ago in /r/muslimdevs about the possibility of incorporating SalamWeb as the pre-installed web browser if we're able to re-launch the Sabily linux distro in the future.
