There is nothing stopping me scrubbing metadata from files as part of my pre-attach workflow.
One doesn't typically write a well written and readable mail on a mobile anyway.
You can get a mobile EXIF scrubber. Scrub images in your image folder, then attach to the mail.
Perhaps what u/6FsWYn1SyQxWLd was referring to when they said > have to use another process to remove it.
is maybe having to use an app that is similar to Scrambled-EXIF in order to remove the EXIF data from photos/images/pictures before sharing them.
thanks for the reply.
The app is just an example that currently does not fit into one of the current list to demonstrate that the current names are not userfriendly. In my opinion putting LosslessJpgCrop into the list only makes sencse if there are other photo editing/processing tools to like https://gitlab.com/juanitobananas/scrambled-exif
scrambled exif is a simple tool that will get rid of exit data. You can share any image to it and it will pipe and let you share to any app.
You need to remove EXIF data from the picture. Scrambled EXIF and Camera Roll are good apps for that.
