I use skymap. This summer we used it to locate saturn and jupiter to aim telescopes and get a better look. So, it seems accurate? Though I can't really speak to that since I don't have professional calibration tools.

I've noticed this one also lists Google Sky Map which has been transferred to another maintainer as an open source project: https://github.com/sky-map-team/stardroid . That seems to be a very loose use of 'dead'.
They also list Project Ara, which never saw release, so was that ever really alive?
And yeah they still list hardware that saw clear successors like the Neuxs line of phones.

It actually does have a search function, but on either app there seem to be things missing that I sometimes search for.
