I've been using Soduto on my Mac that works with KDE on my phone. It works pretty well and has clipboard sync too. It's nice that they're bringing it officially to the Mac though.
Hi there, I am the developer of Soduto and the owner of soduto.com domain. As I am a private person, I didn't see the need and didn't pay much attention to providing full whois information. Now as I recall, the broker I bought the domain from seems had some checkbox related with privacy - probably that's why most of the fields are "REDACTED FOR PRIVACY". Just as I said, I didn't expect anyone would be interested in this information :)
Anyway, if you are concerned about security and privacy, I think Soduto could be what you are searching for. First, it is open source and the code is hosted on the github.com. You can build it yourself if you do not trust the binaries hosted on soduto.com. Also Soduto does not use any web services on the internet, so no data ever leaves your local network - you can check this yourself and even restrict it with firewall. Furthermore, Soduto uses macOS sandboxing, making it even more hard to be compromised. So, in my opinion Soduto is quite good when considering privacy and security
