You should check out speedcrunch
Super quick for basic calculations because it shows and updates the result as you’re typing it. It’s also good for heavier calculations.
One feature I really like is being able to define functions on the fly and even define functions and store them long term.
Alternatively take a look at SpeedCrunch (Website, Repository), my favorite calculator. Also built with Qt, so at least the GUI code should be familiar to OP.
I would love to see Speedcrunch to become KDE's first choice as a calculator app:
It's pretty fast, easy to use (much more intuitive than KCalc IMHO!) and has a lot of features:
It absolutely follows KDE's motto: Simple by Default Powerful When Needed
Speedcrunch FTW. Don't know why they went with that ugly default theme, but you can change it under Settings.
The fact that you keep a history of your calculations is great!
I assume it's because the Qt world already has that with SpeedCrunch and KCalc ls meant as a more simplified option (disclaimer: just a guess, I have no insignt in KCalc development).

Danke :-) Es werden ja nur Grundrechenarten benötigt, die mit jedem Taschenrechner durchgeführt werden können - möchte aber gerne bei dieser Gelegenheit auf SpeedCrunch verweisen:
> SpeedCrunch is a high-precision scientific calculator featuring a fast, keyboard-driven user interface. It is free and open-source software, licensed under the GPL. ...is available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux ... comes in a number of languages [auch Deutsch]
I don't actually know if it does what you need. I use https://speedcrunch.org/ though, it has a bunch of options about number formats and stuff, but I don't really understand the terminology enough to know if it's relevant to your pure int needs though.
