I recently read about Stingle that offers end to end encrypted photos / videos hosted in the cloud.
They haven’t yet released an app for iOS though and apparently the feature set is a little basic right now.
In case people are interested Google stores your photos with minimal encryption so that they can run their ML over every one of them to better their search capabilities. You traded your privacy for free storage. Now that the free storage is being limited heavy users of Google Photos will be paying money for that privilege.
I started extracting my Google Photos a while ago and putting them into Stingle. I did buy a yearly subscription to their 100gb plan and I have been very happy with their service. They have an active Telegram group as well which is great.
