Thanks, I didn't know about wenlin. It looks legit.
I thought the 口口口 was an error but looking closer it really is kou kou kou to represent drops.
I can't think of a good explanation of 靈. I don't see how drops combined with 巫 wizard results in any of the meanings listed.
The drop/trifle part is interesting to me because it suggests an interpretation of zero as a small quantity not worth mentioning but nonetheless still a quantity, not the absence of one - so a meaning of negligible. I couldn't find a Chinese translation of "negligible" with an obvious connection back to 零 though.
cool stuff.
Would be really awesome when/if you can break characters down into more than two components.
Wenlin has a similar feature, but called it's CDL, but the data is much more robust (no offense). I've always secretly wished that Wenlin would open source CDL so that others could actually use it.
arch Chinese has all simplified mandarin character stroke order on their website. I'm not sure if you'll be able to access it via a phone as its flash based.
I like to use Wenlin but its only available for Windows. It runs fine for me under Wine. Not sure if you can run Wine in OSX
