I appreciate that. To be transparent here as I have always been on my G+ community, the dev team is just me. I have a full time job and Yappy is my passion project at night after my kids go to bed.
Yappy is a pretty good service. It's got it's own SMS app that you don't have to use to still use the web client. It's got a free option last I checked with a pro option that removes adds and gives conversation stats. I think the developer is trying to focus more on businesses though.
I use Yappy. It's completely free, no limit on texts/alerts like Pushbullet. Has a Windows desktop app, a Chrome extension and Firefox add-on as well. Pushes all alerts to your PC, not just texts.
Yappy hasn't gone behind a paywall. I went to their website and they're advertising Yappy for Business on the front page, but they still have their free and paid tiers for personal use.
I don't actually use Yappy, though, so is there something in the app that I'm missing?
I used to use mightytext, but kept having issues. I'd give Yappy a try. It works fantastic. Also, if you use EvolveSMS, deleting a thread or text from the Web app also deletes it from your phone.
