Adme pays well when you use the double screen mode (you'll see in the app; you choose how many ads you see). I've earned about $23. Cashout is a bit high at $10 though.

They are not much money, but if you have an Android phone there are a number of apps that will pay to show ads on your lockscreen. Slidejoy (http://www.getslidejoy.com) and AdMe non-referral are the two that I use. For AdMe, you can use bonus code 'PlqViCtnJh' for an extra 25 cents. Combined, this is still only maybe 5 bucks a month, but it is just about as passive as you can get.
Would also recommend you checking out AdMe, which sometimes tops me off at over $0.10 a day. Slidejoy has never been great for me so YMMV for all of these lockscreens.

Sounds like you might do well with smartphone screen lock apps? All you do is install an app, and it shows ads on your phone lock screen. It is just one or two extra swipes when you need to use the phone, and you get $ each day (though usually can only cash out at certain limits. I personally use Slidejoy and AdMe (non-referral) . Adme the lock screen app for Android pays $0.50 per each referral. Once someone signs up under your invite code you are instantly rewarded with 50 cents.

Two ways I use are lockscreen apps and apps that have you download other apps.
I wouldn't say it's exactly fast, but lockscreen apps are certainly easy. These apps give you passive income in exchange for displaying ads on your lockscreen. Personally, I've had the best luck with Slidejoy | Non-ref. I make a solid $2 per month, and the app is very light on battery usage. You can cashout with paypal or from a selection of gift cards including Amazon, Starbucks, Ebay, and many others. However, you can only cashout with money you collected the previous month (i.e. if in January you earn $2, the $2 are only available to be redeemed in February). You can cashout in increments of $2.
While I don't personally use it, some other people recommend Adme, another lockscreen app, over Slidejoy. I don't know much about it, but you can look it up in this sub if you want to learn more.

Appdown | Non-ref (or you can use my ref code uXmAw, if you'd like) is the app I use to download apps for money. It's pretty simple, you download the app and they list apps for you to download in exchange for a reward. The rewards range from 2 cents to 60 cents per download. They also have a really good referral system that pays you half of what you referrals make (So thanks!). You can cashout in increments of $2. Their rewards list lists a bunch of gift cards that are available to cashout with, but they're sold out most of the time, so expect that you can only cashout with Paypal. If you do choose to use Appdown, make sure you read their Pending Rewards page to ensure that you have the best chance of getting credited for the apps you install. Not all apps are going to credit you, but the majority certainly do. Also, I found that the high-paying apps have as high of a likelihood to actually pay you as the lower ones, so don't be afraid of those.
Some other people also seem to recommend Cashpirate over any other download apps apps. I haven't used it myself, so I can't personally vouch for it, but you might want to look it up on this sub if you're interested.

If you are feeling ambitious and don't mind some extra swipes, you can also run AdMe (non-referral) on the same phone. AdMe works just like Slidejoy, though a bit uglier to look at, frankly.
FreeEats is so easy to make a little extra money from. Basically you sign up, register your phone number to receive period texts from them. Each text you receive is worth at least $0.25!!! And they pay even more when you complete tasks like downloading an app or checking out a website. But if you don’t want to do any of that, you still get paid for the text you received. I think they still give an extra $1 for signing up. All payments are made immediately to your PayPal account, so if you don’t have one, get one!

Qapital is an IOS app for automatic savings to whatever goal you have. Similar to Acorns, but not investing, and therefore, no investment management fees. It does the round up option, and through IFTTT program, you can automate funding your savings when you do certain things. I have been using this one for a while and have built up quite a savings because I don't notice the pocket change being paid into it from rounding up my purchases and depositing the difference each time.

A few people, I don't know if this post, already mentioned how to limit if not avoid using data altogether. And in many areas that is easy to do with access to Wifi, like where I live and work, Wifi hotspots all over the place. There are apps like Opera, where you have it prevent apps you specify from having data access and only wifi access when wifi is available. That is a huge thing I use because even with background data turned off, some apps will find a way around it and eat up data unnecessarily. I also recommend going to r/beermoney or other subreddits that have really big lists of stuff to use. I just use what takes the least effort, pays my Fi bill, and puts a little extra in my pocket.
