it's probably "Aegis wallet"...
it's on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aegiswallet
They also have a website, which is down at the moment (a rather bad sign): http://www.aegiswallet.com
Thanks for this proof of concept. It's however not new, I think Aegis Wallet implements a very similar thing.
It's however not more secure than keeping the private keys sandboxed on the phone. Unless the NFC would be able to sign Bitcoin transactions and have a trusted UI. (An NFC version of Trezor would be nice as a companion for mobile devices.)
A better use for NFC is transmitting the BIP70 payment request: Sender taps phone to the receiver, confirms the transaction on screen.
Aegis wallet is the only one I know of that utilized NFC, however that does not necessarily make it secure.
Unlike a Yubikey Neo or Ledger Proton there is no PIN protection of your NFC key.
