I am much more willing to pay once for something and be done with it than get plastered with bullshit micro-transactions.
Spryfox seems to do things in a very amicable fashion. Alphabear has a replenishing meter you can get rid of for $5. and recently released Bushido Bear makes you watch an add in order to continue or pay $5 and be rid of it. Both games also have ads you can watch periodically for additional resources, but are by no means in your face about it.
Love me some material weather. List made using List My Apps
Hi u/Jerenisugly! While several of the titles mentioned in our roundup are paid games, both Scholastic W.O.R.D. and Letter Quest EDU offer free trials for teachers who wish to try before they buy. Alphabear is available as a free download on the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store, and Walden, a Game offers educators complimentary evaluation licenses of the game for their classrooms.
Here are a few other free ELA game resources worth checking out:
I managed to get a similar result with "troubleshooters". I'll upload the image when I can.
EDIT: Here's that move of the game, and here's the result.
RE-EDIT: For those of us who are interested, the app is a word game called "Alphabears".
Link for the lazy.
Alphabear? Your game even sounds similar to it, with as little description as you've given.
