AndroMoney
Pro:
Contro:
top tier app consigliatissima comunque

I use AndroMoney
I really like it. You type in how much you spent, where, and if it was cash/credit etc. If you've been somewhere before, it remembers the name, so you can just search it from the list. And you can add a note if there's something important.
I don't know if this sub is the right place to ask, but it's Sunday so I'll ask anyway.
Can you recommend me a personal accounting software that's possibly cross-platform?
I've been managing my personal finances so far using an Android app called AndroMoney which has all the usual bells and whistles I need: CSV import/export, multiple accounts with multiple currencies, floating exchange rate set by every transaction, note, payee fields, two-level categories for every transaction, also transfers from one account to another with different currencies. Basically what I thought Quicken was supposed to be. I can see where my money is coming from and where it's going, and it's been working fine so far.
Now, I think I'm about to outgrow it. I need more: a Windows/Linux GUI helper app which would allow me to maintain the database and make complex filters and reports on transactions. Also things like: budgeting, loans, lending, liability management, etc.
My switch candidates were so far:
Money Manager Ex: a cross-platform (Android included) application for simple finance management. It doesn't have all the features I need, but it's a good start. I don't know how long it'll take me to convert my existing database to it, but from what I've researched, at least transaction import doesn't work as intended. So there's that. It's freeware and open source, which is a great plus. On the down side, I'd have to manually sync the database, as it doesn't support database encryption or cloud sync.
Sprout App works on Android only, and the biggest downside is that it's paid version requires to sync your financial database with their Chinese cloud, which is a red flag enough to disregard it. Why I've found it interesting: it has everything I need and more, plus a working export feature. Interface is very slick and fast.
Bluecoins works fine offline, but it's import feature is buggy, and I've yet to receive a follow up email from their support. It's not so feature packed as Sprout, but doesn't need any kind of cloud sync to work.
