I tried safe mode and it worked great all day. So today I opened it up in normal mode (the problem came back) and I deleted apps until the BT stopped turning itself off. It turned out to be AVG Cleaner and Battery Booster. I had that app installed for almost 2 years but only last month did this start happenning. after I uninstalled it my N9 BT is back to normal.
Anyone else have this problem? I have been using my tablet daily for over a year now. It's as old as they get, I preordered this tablet the first day it was pre-orderable.
I factory reset the tablet 2 days ago becuase I couldn't stand the problem anymore, but that didn't solve the problem. It can go a few hours working perfectly sometimes working and then it will just have a spasm of turning itself off while I'm in the middle of using it. I use it every day to play music at my cafe. At least I used to. It never turns itself on.
When it doesn't turn off it works perfectly. So I don't think it's hardware. Has anyone else had this problem? Can third party signals remotely turn off the N9 bluetooth? This is getting ridiculous.
I looked for an app that locks the BT on. But apparently that doens't exist. At least I couldn't find it.
[update: It was the app AVG Cleaner and Battery Booster. BT worked in safe mode so I deleted apps until it worked in normal mode.]
