It's not terribly "thoughtfully" since it just uses music to generate the patterns, but Beato is kinda cool. You have a black circle and there's a 'bucket' that you move around it by touching one side of the screen. Black drips come at the circle from the outsides of the screen so you have to intercept them with the bucket before they crash into the circle.
The dev posted it here several months ago and it had crashing issues, but it might be worth looking into.
I use HaxeFlixel, Unity and a custom made engine for high performance HTML5 games.
If you need me to work in any other 2D engine I can learn it very quickly and be productive with it for you. (I started to make bioDigit the same day I learn HaxeFlixel and got my first mobile device, finished the game in the same month. I also made this game within the first week I started learning Unity).
