Hello!
I'm working on Bitesnap (also has an iOS version). It's a free app for food logging and calorie counting that uses computer vision to recognize your food. The goal is to make keeping track of what you eat as easy as possible.
I'd love to get feedback on the app, app listing and logo. Also if you've ever tried calorie counting apps what were your favorite features?
We made Bitesnap with RN, here are the links if you'd like to check it out:

Hey, I'm working on an app called Bitesnap. It's completely free.
Hmm that should work. The beta is for the international version, we have an official release in north america
I found these after a bit of research. I hav'nt had time to play with them yet, or look into cost. If you get to them before I do, let me know your experience. I also use an android, so I'm not sure that last one will work for me at all.

Sounds like you're looking for Bitesnap
I had the same issues when I tried using MFP and am now working on an app to fix that.
It uses computer vision to recognize what's on your plate, so entering a complex meal ends up being a few clicks. It's not perfect yet and you still have to adjust the portion sizes but it learns to recognize your past meals so if you take a picture of something the second time it lets you quickly copy the information.
The other nice part about this approach is that it the system improves for all of the users with each new meal that is logged. If things go well we should be able to start predicting portion sizes for common meals and even detect specific meals at restaurants if someone has logged them before.
The end goal is to make logging real food as easy as scanning a barcode.
If you're interested, the app is called Bitesnap (Android, iOS). Right now it only recognizes whole/plated food but we're adding packaged product support soon. It's in open beta now and we are launching the first "public version" soon.
(I hope this didn't come off as spam)
