What is Reddit's opinion of Bits Watch Face?

This guy spams his watchface to this sub about once a month, it is a paid app which drains the battery on both your phone and your watch at incredible rates. If you want a much better alternative try Bits which works far better and is completely free.

I still haven't found one that I like better than "Dials", which comes with the Moto 360. However, of the one's I've downloaded I like Bits and Chronos

I tried it. Killed the battery on my phone to the point I couldn't get it to last much past lunch time.

I only have 1 hardware button, so I use bits watch face that can have 6 interactions on the screen, which lets me put a "now playing" button on one.

Going along with the metaphor, in the wild west, it's every man for himself. Meaning, there's no way for people to band together for something like this. I can see a market for something to track niche stats on their watch. Imagine something like Bits, but with unread counts from any email client, any IM client, instant keyboard macros with the Logitech G app, live sports scores, days until a big event, Bluetooth headphones battery, open tickets/people in queue for our inhouse support app, or even reddit karma if you're into that. Wouldn't it be nice if developers could just send it all to Wear, which makes a big 2d array from all the info (there's probably a more optimized way, but you get the point), that watchface makers can just peek into and get the info it needs for the complications?

Also, for a wild west it's awfully Google-based. I've yet to see a watchface supporting ASUS Wellness, Outlook, or any 3rd party clock, stopwatch, or calendar app.

I'd love to see this happen, and I think it would be a great way to appeal to more people, but I don't think Google will make something like this anytime soon, or that there would be a lot of support from both app devs and watchface makers.

I like "Bits" quite a lot. It looks really nice, not cluttered. You can customize the number of "circles that appear up to six, plus time in the middle.

The guys behind the Monument Valley game and its beautiful design and open production have made a few watch faces with interactive complications as well. Moto's look pretty but I can't stand any company that plasters its logo on products for you to advertise for them.
