What is Reddit's opinion of BlueputDroid?

If you have a phone with an old Android version, BlueputDroid might work. In Android 4.2 Google replaced the old Bluetooth stack "Bluez" with a new one, "Bluedroid", and BlueputDroid seems to work only with Bluez.
