If you have a car then you could use it as a dashcam / ODB reader using a windscreen mount and a bluetooth ODB car adapter.
An app will let you record video (usually saves the last few number of seconds when a button is pressed) and some apps will allow you to view ODB information from the car (such as fault codes, speed, fuel consumption...).
I've tried the lot of Android dashcam apps, and the one I've come to love most is CaroO. The seemless auto-uploading to youtube when an accident event happens is probably my favorite feature.
I think I may give Caro0 a go. It seems to have most of the features I want and even some that I didn't expect to have offered, such as OBDII monitoring. The only downside I can find with it after a ten minute pilot test was that it doesn't save extended data to a CSV/GPX file, so dashcamviewer doesn't support anything other than video playback. Do you know if DailyRoads supports exporting said data?
