Yes. A FUNCTIONAL mobile application for time and billing. I have no fucking clue why Westlaw's "Firm Central" (which I used for 2 years and hated every minute) sucks so badly at this. From what I gleaned over my use of that product, they just don't give a shit about updating the mobile app to make sure that it functions with the most recent iOS. The mobile time tracking application is literally the worst app I have ever run on my devices. See some of the reviews here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/time-tracker-by-ebillity/id468586078?mt=8
They keep renaming the app and update it ever so often, but the well deserved negative reviews keep piling up on this garbage product. It is NOT free -- it comes as part of the "package" of the overall "client management" system.

Why can't anyone do this right? I don't know. What I suspect is that these products are tied into the larger "practice management" platforms that you buy into, and for whatever reason, they can't keep the mobile apps functional.
The thing is, I don't want a different fucking calendar. I use outlook, thanks. I don't want to put all my files on some third rate cloud service. I have Box, thanks. I don't want to put my notes in some third rate web-app. I have One Note, thanks.
What I do want very badly, and what I would happily pay for, is a VERY FUNCTIONAL, web and mobile based time and billing application that is not tied into all that other shit. Just give me client names, matters, customization, and the ordinary rate shit. And make it WORK ON MY MOBILE DEVICES FOR CHRIST SAKE.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm glad I finally got to express this to someone who might actually do something about it.
