Maybe it's two years old but it's simply the fastest and best working browser on Android. And there are no compatibility issues as it happens often with not updated apps.
CS Browser was an open source chromium browser optimized for snapdragon. For whatever reason it's missing from the play store now. It's a shame as chromium isn't compatible with f-droid
There are other chromium browsers still available but afaik none are technically open source.
Im listing off a list of apps that I've grown to love in the last few weeks. Some maybe known well, but I think they're important to name as well.
I've used YuBrowser in the past as my go to chromium based browser with AdBlock but in the last weeks I couldn't access XDA and Amazon website without certificate or security error. CSBrowser works the same if not faster and doesn't call amazon.com a unsafe website.
Audio calling should've been available in this app from the start but it's finally here and working pretty well. Definitely better than WhatsApp.
Inbox doesn't get that much the last weeks but I want to shout-out it's features that I use daily. Reminders and categories work so well, and saving links to the inbox helps me remember links for later or send them between my phone and my computers. Inbox is pretty much my life planner and it's working reliable and reasonably fast.
I don't like the new Instagram app with stories and so many features. So for people that just want to scroll through their feed of pictures with awesome animations this (deprecated) app still works great.
Everytime I download music into my phone (Nexus 5X) the music files won't display in Phonograph. This little app forces the media scan and thus fixed the problem for me.
Forgot to mention, a beta version of this browser also exists and it's built on Chrome 56. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.scweeny.CS.browser.beta)
Damn did it get dumped from the play store?
I only have the beta installed, can anyone else access this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.scweeny.CS.browser.beta

In that case, instead of using Chrome, use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.scweeny.CS.browser.beta
It's a version of Chrome optimized for Snapdragon CPUs.
