Deadbeef from what I've used has some of that weird format support (Played some game music files)

The best one I've found (out of trying dozens and dozens) is DeaDBeeF Player.
One of the simplest players I found, but I really like it. There are a few things that could be improved, but there's little chance of that, as the developer went on to its followup, which I like less...
Pros: flac, gapless play, easy reordering of tracks in playlists, very easy to use.
Cons: no updates, no reordering of playlists themselves.
