There is a lite version available to try which basically limits you too the first "gym".
The IAPs are some avatar skins and "premium" summons that are shiny versions of Creos with a minimum star level (more stars is more higher stats).
I think it's the best Pokemon clone available and completely worth the price if not worth more. It's definitely interesting, but not bug free though it is being updated frequently with fixes.
EvoCreo is THE BEST "like the original" pokemon game out there in my opinion. It instantly made me feel like I was back on the game boy color playing yellow Edition back in my days. They did a really good job with it! For any pokemon enthusiasts who loved the different colored series pokemon for the game boys, this game is a must try! Available free on Google Play!

Evocreo. Heavily inspired by Pokemon and made by Pokemon fans. It's a great game and a nice alternative to using emulator on your phone. The best part is it feels like a real game not another Bs cash grab. There are IAPs but they are for the expansion and convenience items. There is also multiplayer but I've not tried it out yet. Free version available as well. You are able to get to the first Arena (aka Gym) in the Lite version, but you do not have access to the Shop.
