b) With limited time at the moment, I'm always playing a Conflict Series game on my Android device, because I can drop in and out at will, and still get some deep wargaming done when I can. I really enjoy the way that the developer (Joni Nuutinen) of titles in the series, weaves his arsenal of mechanics into a game with an accessible (and familiar) interface, yet tweaks the experience around the era and specifics of the games theme. (Theres a free version if you want to taste what the Conflict Series play like without pulling the trigger on the paid version).

c) Probably Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun. When I have a bit more time, I need to fully appreciate this Japanese themed mod turned fully flegded stand-alone update to the Pike & Shot series.
