There are several gyms in Louisville: Planet Fitness, Powerhouse, LA Fitness, CrossFit, etc.... Most of these gyms are offering free trial membership passes for anywhere from one day to 7 days ... This is an excellent source, as not only are most of these facilities 24/7 facilities, but they also provide a warm atmosphere, often have food and or activities in which you can participate, showers and Wi-Fi. These are excellent emergency crash pads... To get the trials you go on to the website and request a guest pass/trial membership... Sometimes they make you take the tour... But it is short and then the remaining time is yours... I would look into this...
Also, as far as wifi goes, this is wonderful app called Free WiFi by Wiman.me that is excellent for finding local hotspots and another app via WiFimap.io posts the same as well as passwords for these maps... It's fairly clutch when it comes to grabbing WiFi on the fly... The Android app is here: but is also available for iPhone... The first app I posted is Android only I believe, but does have a mobile browser interface as well...
> What is that ATT Deathstar looking icon on the upper left for?
It's Wiman. Instabridge is better, though.
Hope everything is going well for you. :-)
If you have an Android phone, this app is great for finding free WiFi.

Users save & share passwords from venues with free WiFi. So you can stand outside a bar, garage, shop, or café, without having to go in to ask for the password - and having to go through the stress of pretending you're going to buy something.
Also...
The Opera Mini browser routes all traffic through its servers in Norway. They do this to compress images and other media, meaning pages should load faster on the browser. But... This has a not-widely-publicised side-effect. It basically works as a Norwegian VPN - and Norway's copyright laws must be a bit more liberal than most countries. You'll find yourself being able to view websites you wouldn't be able to normally...
