Good point, data would be great
Also frametime graphs (or FPS graphs) are good too for showing consistence
I believe GameBench has FPS and temp
I'm not sure if it affects performance
Sure thing - it's GameBench (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamebench.metricscollector)
We're a performance profiling tool - have a desktop app that profiled both Android and iOS, and all recorded data syncs to a web dashboard. Like I said, 30min free per month for anybody that uses it (we have a lot of XDA guys using it)
Sure: GameBench
We're a performance profiling tool for developers and enthusiasts. We give 30min/month free to everybody (mainly for enthusiasts), and you get access to the Android app, Desktop app (tests iOS & Android), and a web dashboard to view/analyse your data.
Gamebench Requires no root, only connection to PC. And for your computer, any regular benching software will do (i believe O_o). Good luck op
Afaik OP8 series does indeed run it at true 90fps (after switching the screen refresh rate too obviously) but there were reports from several users back then that of the system getting bugged & glitching at 60fps until rebooting phone etc.
My friend had a Op7t at that time & he'd seen these reports on their forums as well as experiencing the same on his phone.
Can't comment anymore as personally I don't own it & he got a new iphone so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Btw have you tried checking the frame rate on yours via some app already?
This here's a trial-ish version - a few clicks to configure via pc (one time setup) & you're good to go.

This worked : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamebench.metricscollector
But even without it, you can easily tell its 60 fps.
That said, the official release graphics and frame rates when playing battle royale seem much worse than it was prerelease. Like noticeably worse.
If possible, can you test the game fps on some demanding titles like ark survival evolved, pubg m, and cod mobile (idk if this game is available to download)?
You can use gamebench to record fps (it requires a pc for initial setup)

That is weird. Game shouldn't become laggy. Can you download this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamebench.metricscollector and run it while running the game and enable fps overlay while benchmarking and see how many fps it gives. If itstays at 29-30fps then there isn't any performance problem. If it dips lower then you might need to close other apps and/or update the android OS.
an app called gamebench
You can tell if you used an FPS counter like GameBench https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamebench.metricscollector
