I dont think I have the info you are looking for however, in regards to the display I have looked into it as I too want to replace my nav for a tablet without loosing the factory functions and found this app:

The audio I was planning to just tap into the stock head unit and go from there. not sure if that is helpful.

Hey, I am intrested in this aswell. I looked into it and found this app on the play store for android.
