I have tried many many kits and there's very little difference between the $100 ish kits and the $35 kits.
If you have a base model, I've noticed that the stock wiring may not deliver enough juice for the brighter 55W kits so I recommend you get a relay kit and wire them directly to your battery.
You will also need bulb holders to allow the cable to come out the back (and you will need to remove the threaded lids from the headlamp.
In short. You will need
I have installed a ton of these and done extensive comparison between HID / LED. Shoot if you have any Q's

Hey buddy, i actually bought my Genesis with a crack in the leather just like yours and the dealership offered to have it “repaired”. The guy basically soldered it together, like melting the fake leather back together. It honestly looked worse than before and didn’t last more than 3 months. What I did was buy a very nice seat cover for both my front seats and I couldn’t recommend that more.

Yeah, they really look nice on our cars. I'm super happy with them so far. Braided brakes lines would have completed it but I didn't think about it until the friend that was helping me mentioned I should replace the rubber lines with braided lines.
Same thing happened to me, I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SZ5JQJR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Went right in, just had to do some simple wiring work. Worked right out of the box on my 2012 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track with the same HID bulbs
i got the viofo. not a single problem so far. i think the 4k is worth the upgrade but even a119 like saltyboii linked have custom firmwares to increase video quality.
If you have a clip tool use that to get the heat mat off. Then the hood vents will have 3 (i think 10mm ) nuts on them, remove those then use a one of the flat tools to help pop out that arrow shaped clip, then you just have to put pressure on it because it’s also clipped into the hood at the front of the vent and it’ll pop right out.
And before anyone says anything about the video liked I know these are Korean cars not Japanese, it’s just funny and still applies lol
If you don’t have those tools you can just use a flat head screw for the clips, pop them out just know you might break them easier.

The LEDs I just bought have an adjustable base so hopefully that will mitigate any blind spots. But even if they aren’t perfect, being plug and play might be worth a small drawback or two. We’ll see how they work.
It’s enough for the top and bottom if you cut it. I saved a section for the top just in case.
This is an aftermarket one that works With the auto style since you need to press the shaft down for the neutral safety switch to change gear and release the key. There's isn't many options tho but this one worked best.
I got them off of Amazon and was a bit hesitant as first because I didn’t want to spend $250 for some cheap junk that will fly off after the first rain storm, but I’m incredibly surprised at how sturdy they are and how well built it is. Comes with all the double sided tape you’d need for the job plus it comes pre-cushioned on the “blades” of the louvers so that they don’t rattle against the window, I’m impressed with it. I would recommend them man, seriously. Just make sure you have two people to set it on your windshield so that it’s done perfectly because once that super sticky tape sticks to the window you’re going to be in trouble if the alignment is off.

45 bucks plus the sandpaper I already had.
It's just the Navigation bezel with a 8" android tablet behind it. It's relatively easy to root it and make it turn on with the car. Currently I have it running Waze. I find it more useful than the gauges.
Any 8" tablet that can be rooted will work. Preferably 16x8. It needs to be rootable so that you can make it turn on when it gets power.
This is the bezel kit for the BK1 https://www.amazon.com/integrated-08-11-Genesis-Coupe/dp/B00MPG4XEG
and 847452M7009P is the part number for the bezel on the BK2. I paid $35 at the dealer. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313&_nkw=847452M7009P&_sacat=0
For tablet I'm using some old samsung 8" I think a Tab A8. Then jsut some wiring and setting up and BAM.
Literally a car computer.
I wet sanded 800 then wet sanded to 1600 or 1800 (I forget) cleaned it with water then gave it a wipe down with alcohol. Two cans, and as many coats as I could put down. Get good clear though. I recommend this stuff

This stuff works amazing, it really lasts a year- my car is garage kept so it usually lasts more than a year. Go really light on it and use a disposable paint brush, if you use too much it will be uneven because it has black dye in it.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WHTFN7F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Triax makes some to spec that is a bit cheaper than the OEM Pentosin stuff.
You can probably go to your local authorized Hyundai dealer to ask for the part number of the clip, or see if they have a few they could give to you for free / maybe like a pack for 10 bucks.
Found a bag of clips from amazon , link here. This could work as a replacement if you want to potentially save a trip to the dealer.
Alternatively you could just put on some adhesive film. Sound deaners (saw HR_Smutnstuff suggest dynamat), but you could also do like the gold reflective tape/film as a firewall.
Or, you can do what us BK1 folk do and run no liner... cuz we ain't get that fancy stuff :(
Thanks for looking! If you guys have any questions I'd be happy to answer them!/Have a general discussion even if you're not interested in buying my car: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2915372988749437/
For any future readers, I went and bought a relocator kit from Amazon, found here. My only concern is the Philips screw holding the mount in place is well, a Philips head, and has to accommodate for some space for the mount, so it doesn't feel absolutely secure in place.

With that said, I've been running it down the interstates at like 110/120 mph (~190kmh) and it hasn't come loose at all, maybe it would tilt but you can tilt it back when you get out of the car. Definitely a good cheaper option for me compared to the super expensive ones from the other websites.

Other than this link https://www.amazon.com/HYUNDAI-SERVICE-KIT-OIL-FILTER-2/dp/B00BJMESRO/
Here we have many part shops that sell Hyundai-Kia parts I got my stuff from them.
(You can get other aftermarket filter for cheaper I think, but I can't tell you which because I only have experience with the oem one)
So for this specific one, physical installation is really easy, everything just either unbolts or pops out on the gen, i found a pdf with instructions that will get you 90% there.
The only choice you have to make is if you're ok with using the stock radio as a audio amp (and not being able to use the EQ/volume controls on the actual yuulbro headunit). It is definately easier to install if you do it that way as all you have to do is wire the aux cord they provide to the aux port on your car and you're done. Drawbacks being you dont get to take advantage of the yuulbros onboard amp and 32channel EQ.
Now if you want to use the yuulbro amp/EQ, and i heavily recommend it because it makes even the stock speakers sound amazing, you'll need a wire harness adapter like this. Behind the yuulbro , after you plug in the harness they provide, has the speaker wires pigtailed off the connector. You will have to solder/crimp the wires from the harness to the yuulbro (pretty easy as they are color coded). once thats complete you'll have full volume control from the yuulbro and will no longer need the stock headunit for anything except the canbus stuff (climate control/steeringwheel controls).
I took some pictures of the process but not many since ive installed radios before but its pretty self explanatory. Like i said i'm willing to help out anyone who runs into issues just because i spent waaaay tomuch time doing research on installations since the seller not the internet was clear about being able to use the yuulbro as a standalone music amp.

Nothing fancy, but I didn’t want to put anything too expensive on a car that’s daily driven. Fitment wise, the passenger side ended up being a little bit longer, so it had to be cut down to size. Also, depending on what size exhaust tips you have, there may be some contact between the tips and the diffuser. Mine tips have sort of a “double wall” design, so no melting thankfully. I’ve been running in this way for almost 2 years with no issues.
Have you heard of this thing called Fuel Shark? I hear you plug it into your cigarette light port and it instantly starts helping you fuel economy.
I also hear you can get a tune for that--cuts down some of that fuel in the AFI so you're not using so much. Wayyy more efficient that way.

You probably got one too many leds going on so you got hyper flash now. You gotta buy a relay. I didn’t have this problem until I upgraded to led fogs. Everything was already leds and that was what sent me to hyper flash land. For the bk1 just buy and replace that relay that’s under the steering column. Just a fyi, you’re gonna have to snap the corners off your housing to fit the relay. Not a big deal and nobody sees it.

Did you get the breather filter with it?
So what I would suggest is buying yours off Amazon. Youll save $60-$70 rather than paying x2 the price on 3.8performance dot com.
Installing it was really simple. As long as you connect it properly, it took maybe 5 minutes to connect everything together? Honestly it felt like 2 minutes lol.
Now i will admit, from neutral...there is still lag on throttle but while driving, it feels much more snappy. I have mine in setting 2 of the FH (race mode). I honestly dont know why so many people hype up the lack of lag time between pressing your foot into the pedal with the controller and having like NO lag. There will still be lag, however your car will accelerate a lot more depending on how aggressive your setting mode is.
i still need to test it a bit more but i think for $70, itll be a fun mod.
I'd call it a rear filler or diffuser, there may be a more accurate term but I'm not sure what it would be. If you're wanting to swap it out because it's faded then check this stuff out instead. It's called blak and works almost too well, the bottle says that one application lasts a year but I keep my car in the garage and it lasted for over a year so far. Don't use very much of it and use a disposable foam brush to apply it- use one third of what you think that you need so you don't use too much and wipe off any excess before it dries. It has dye and protectant all in one so if you use too much and let it dry then it will look a bit uneven which is my problem. I should have applied it more evenly by just putting a little bit at a time.

Yeah, a spot that big needs a professional paint job. This stuff called Blak works amazingly well for restoring faded black plastic like on both bumpers. It lasts for a really long time too, I put on some about a year ago and keep my car in a garage and it still looks good- the only problem is if you use too much it can look a bit smeary up close with some parts being a bit darker than others. So only use a tiny bit at a time and apply with a foam disposable paint brush.
Be careful using flathead screwdrivers or anything hard because you can ding the plastic. If you have a set of plastic interior trim tools or something similar that would be a good idea.
Some 3000 grit wet sanding should do the trick. Clean it off and let it dry, then spray the automotive clearcoat (whichever one you want) following the directions. Let it dry and harden for a few days ideally then use some rubbing compound (if you have it), then polishing compound, then wax. Should be good for a few years.
You could use the clearcoat wipes if you can find some...but amazon has them out of stock. Even comes with some 3000 grit paper. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079QL8BYK/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I paid 100 but looks like it’s way cheaper now lol
The head unit, really. My current touchscreen doesn't work that well anymore and the software is dated to say the least. I want something that is compatible with Android Auto and that comes with a backup camera.
As far as I understand the stock radio has 2 parts, the actual radio and the LCD screen, am I wrong? Would it be possible to just take out that screen and install something like this in its place? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096N86G93?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I'm not really interested in doing anything like a dual screen tablet mod or those kinds of things.
Been running this one for a couple months and it's been great. Just don't use the hoses that come with it and get some quality ones.

This reflective heat tape one is decent. Take the sheet version for easier time to cover that cube box.

Also you might want to to this extra mod as well to make the airflow to the box better.

I can’t speak for the BK1 as much but I had the same issue in my 2014 3.8 with the Infiniti Sound package. What I have done to mitigate the rattling in take the door panels and the back deck trim off of the inside of the car and applied sound deadening butyl to the back side of every piece of trim (as well as on the metal framing of each door and on the top/bottom of the back deck where the sun is mounted). The vibration has been reduced significantly, and I only get a slight rattle with certain types of songs.
The product I used was: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0751G6TMV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ANSAM2NB90C7SYFVBS3M You’ll also need a heavy roller and some isopropyl alcohol and towels to wipe all of the surfaces down before applying the butyl. The install took me about 5 hours to complete, and I also ended up painting my door handles while I was at it too. I’ve gotta say, the car rides much quieter and playing music is more fun now too.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Friendly reminder for everyone to buy and install a dash camera - front and rear is even better. I'd suggest these https://www.amazon.com/Garmin-140-degree-Monitor-Connected-Features/dp/B0931YZ82P/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3DJ4B0LT0YOMN&dchild=1&keywords=garmin+dash+cam+mini+2&qid=1633116025&sprefix=garmin+das%2Caps%2C197&sr=8-3
It definitely pops or whatever you call it bc of the contrast. Check out the stuff in the link, it restores black plastic and vinyl- I bought it for my last car which was a 20 year-old Volvo and the vinyl looked about 10 years newer after application. I also bought their matching clear sealant which helped. One bottle goes a long way, you could probably fix the vinyl on 60 GCs or more with one bottle. It kind of smears bc of the pigments if you use too much so don't put too much on the applicator if you buy it. Also, disposable foam paintbrushes for application are easy to control.

Someone smarter can answer your actual question, but I installed Hella Horns a couple weeks back and skipped the relay and used this harness instead plug and play no issues.
Honestly I’m not sure. I bought these Spec-D Tuning Smoke Lens Sequential LED Bar Tail Lights for 2010-2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2 Dr Taillights Assembly Left + Right Pair https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FY9WSCK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S4QKM60KX8MQ0HVPF2HX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Checkout sealants, they last for six months or more if a vehicle is garage kept. Not too sure how long they last outside, but probably at least 3-4 months. I prefer Wolfgang brand if you want reasonably priced stuff that still works great. It looks a lot better than wax in my opinion, especially on darker color cars- I also have a black GC. That company also has this amazing stuff to treat vinyl and it restores the black color of plastics/trim while also protecting it. I used it on a 20 year old car and it looked like it was ten years newer.
