So I was inspired by these two posts on 3D-modeling PD's gem.

Seen from the episode and Crewniverse T-shirt, PD's gem looks like a Rose Quartz gem from the top, with rounded pentagonal facets, and a pyramid on the bottom. Combining those two parts, though impossible for a gem irl, would get us the exact result we're expecting.

If you're playing the steam version:

1. Download the Mission Replay Mod.
2. Follow the instructions on that forum guide to install the mod.

Why are you doing this, what's wrong with displaying the data in a pivot table?

1. Don't reference the pivot table for your fixed values (month names and years) , fix them up front and then they're not going to be affected by the pivot table moving.
2. Remove the subtotal and/or do 1
3. You need to refer to a fixed 2019 cell and not a variable one.

Fundamentally

• you shouldn't try run a set of discrete cells which you don't expect to fuck up off of a Pivot table you are planing on filtering.
• Use multiple pivot tables for different purposes (copy paste them and they inherit slicers too)
• Use slicers to filter, filtering on the columns is old hat.

A couple of quick questions. First of all, you purchased a fully-assembled Tofu kit from KBDFans, correct? If that is the case, you have a DZ60 PCB. This means that you should have generated a hex file from the DZ60 starting file (https://config.qmk.fm/#/dz60/LAYOUT_60_ansi). If none of the keys are working, my first guess would be that you either flashed a hex file for the wrong keyboard, or a blank hex file.

Secondly, if you did write an incorrect hex file, this means that you can no longer use the default space+b combination as you plug in the keyboard to set it to flash mode. If you open up your case and look at the PCB, you should be able to spot two pads labeled as reset. You can short those two pads together with a paperclip or tweezers to manually set it to flash mode.

You can always reflash the default hex file that I've uploaded here. If you're still having trouble, you can just let me know what keymap you want, and I can generate the hex for you later tonight.

What you are looking to do is an UNPIVOT - which is a power query operation in Data -> Get & Transform

Can you make him take more in-focus pictures? Sharper images will help a lot. If he's stuck with a cellphone, maybe also try taking a video by moving slowly (1920x1080 at minimum), this helps dealing with micro-noise but then again, there is also the transparency and reflection that doesn't help.

It's not a backport but it's rather a very simple addon that "merges" guild chats.

There is only one option that you need to do before running the game, and it's to open "GuildXChat.lua" with a text editor (notepad for example) and change the first line to your channel's name (e.g. local guildChat = "myGuildChat";). After that, you can redistribute inside your guilds.

• "unpivot" each of the files to make a long narrow table out of them, then Append them on each other and finally Pivot them again.
• or simply APPEND all the files.

• you'd modify it to have discreet minutes - the formula is above the table for you to use.
• the next columns simply look up (using INDEX/MATCH) the value associated with the [Time] in the source table - for each column - so match Time in column t1 and return value d1.

Hallo! I love Townkins and have recently began to work on the puzzle with my new Townkin Family! I noticed it's hard to keep track of which squares you've tried, and keeping a notebook for it is too messy for me.

So I made a quick and simple PSD (Photoshop Document for those who may be unfamiliar - hey it happens) to fill in what's already done and what I have tried. Also to try and figure out the puzzle ahead of time ;)

The fundamental problem is that you are attempting to represent two different types of information in the same column. This is incorrect from a data management perspective and will make your life hell when it comes to trying to use such data in a pivot table.

• you need a separate column which is the current "state" of the transaction
• you then use that column as a slicer to enable you to filter the data appropriately
• I also don't see the real value of two columns for duration, tbh. I'd try just having one which either calculates duration based on today's date if not completed - or on completed if it is.

Ahh, so you'll be entering this as you go about your route eh? Okay. So I reworked it to be a bit. The idea here being that you would use the 'Daily' sheet to enter all your data on your shift. Make sure the date is set correctly in 'F2' and then enter the data as you go in columns F:J and D6:D9 (anything highlighted in green), the rest will populate automatically. At the end of your day, once you get back to a computer, run the included macro by clicking the 'Transfer Data' button on the 'Daily' sheet. Again, this will only run on a PC, mobile does not support VBA yet. This will take all of your day's data and transfer it to your 'RAW' sheet which will be used to store the data so you can calculate historical totals, averages, etc. I changed the 'Paycheck' sheet to reflect something in that vein. Bit late to the party I see and /u/tirlibibi17 has outlined how to do it. I've gone a bit further.

So the trick with this sort of format is NOT to refer to any headers containing variable data (like dates or person's names) name when processing the file. Unpivot "other" columns etc

• Files from folder.

• Unpivoted based on id.

• after unpivoting, we split the date/attribute field into 3 components ( a sales/visit indicator, a month and a year)

• merge the month and year into a new column and make into a date.

• remove all the leftover columns

I then

• loaded the data to a table
• made a pivot table off of it
• couple of slicers
• chart

2. splits Disk Space by spaces
3. Merges with a division values table
4. Creates a calculated column dividing the disk space (our dividend number) by the merged divisor.
5. deletes intermediate columns
6. messes around with an index columns to make sure the data is returned in the original order (sigh)
7. returns the converted table.

No Excel formulas were harmed (or used) in this exercise.

1. Personally I'd add it to a second table and merge it into the primary table using an INDEX/MATCH. It would be daft to do this more than once. This avoids the use of relationships with 2 pivot tables.
2. Indeed, however, I see no value to manually adjusting a pivot table in-situ - it would entirely defeat the slicing/filtering capabilities. If you use either of these solutions, the comments "appear" , appropriately positioned even when re-ordered, filtered out etc - they stick to the rows they are associated with unlike anything manually typed in ever could.

So this is an example of option 1.

As a Note: I'm not sure how Egosoft will react to this, so I uploaded the file on a hoster that deletes it after 2 days. Smoothing wasn't applied, just a pure conversion. It's 3 MB big and contains pure text.

I would agree I don't think it's your mods. Nothing in your log is showing an error. If you run into the problem again, you could find your save files and compress your entire Saves folder to a .zip; from there, upload your saves to ExpireBox, and either share the download link here or via PM, if you'd rather not publicly share your saves.

I can then take a look and see if they appear in my game. If they do, the good news would be that your saves aren't corrupt. Either way, we can figure out where to go from there. :)

Ok, so I've made you an example, using a transaction table and a lookup table with the combination of the two as a pivot table using relationships.

• I create a pivot table to present the information.
• I created a relationship from the transaction table to the lookup table (who to person) to enable the lookup of the full name and for use in slicers.
• I create slicers based on information in the lookup table (region, full name)
• I created a timeline slicer on the date field.
• a pivot chart off of this pivot table.

Effectively what you have here is extract in the form of a pivot table and they are difficult to search in this structure.

• This page discusses how to lookup in a 10x10 matrix.

• There are other ways this could be performed, using OFFSET(MATCH, MATCH) and INDEX(MATCH(horizontal), MATCH(vertical)) combinations.

• Personally, would read this data into a table using power query and unpivot it to make it easily searchable. You'd have to add the free Microsoft add-in for power query - it's standard in 2016 and Office365.

To allow for your dates changing, you'd use cells either hidden or even on other sheets to contain the lookup values.

Power query supports the ability to make a "Custom function" for you based on a query/connection you build.

I made you this trivial example, download here... I performed no programming to make this - was all done in the PQ user interface.

1. I started with a plain table.
2. I then picked up that data using Data -> Get & Transform -> From Table and generated a query on that table. I added a filter on the Modify column (=true) and loaded the result of that back into Sheet1

3. in PQ editor, I made a new version of the above query to take a parameter - in order to make a query into a function, the query needs to support a parameter:

   • I created a New parameter (called it "parModifyValue") and set it to false

   • I duplicated "tableSubset", named it to "tableSubsetPARAM" and changed the "=true" in the filter to "=parModifyValue"

     = Table.SelectRows(#"Changed Type", each ([modify] = true)) = Table.SelectRows(#"Changed Type", each ([modify] = parModifyValue))

   • I loaded the output of tableSubsetPARAM to Sheet1.

   • If you were to change the value of the parModifyValue to true, refresh table 3 on Sheet1, the table would change appropriately.

Sheets or workbooks, the principle is the same only the cell reference is different. I'll refer to them as "front" and "info"

So this is all fairly trivial stuff:

• in the info sheet - you'd have a table of multiple rows containing an invoice ID, name, address, description, quantity, price etc
• in the front sheet you have a cell where we enter the invoice id - a drop down.
• you look up the ID in the info sheet using MATCH and determine the row.
• wherever you need to use that row's data now in the front sheet, you use INDEX([some column name], the row above).

• So you duplicated the "selection" cells, but the formula in them (specifically in H6, M6 and R6) refered to the first instance of the cells (i.e. via those named cells). I changed the references to be to regular cell references (D3, C5 etc)
• I copied the 4 cell block B5:C6 into G5, L5 and Q5. They automatically refer to the appropriate cells now.
• I added a tiny lookup table which converts C1 -> t_C1 (see cell C5).
• I created a drop down list (aka data validation) for each of the table names (using the table names in the table in V4:V6)

So you want to pick a specific row from a specific column.

• typically you'd want your data sets on different sheets or in different tables.
• make them into tables - name them t_C3, t_C4 etc

Use an indirect to build an appropriate access:

assuming you had 3 named cells containing table name, column name and row name, called vTable, vCol and vRow respectively

The you'd use an indirect to access the data - firstly to determine the row and then the column intersection.

• The "key" is used to identify which row of data to use, right?

Well, do you understand what an impulse response is? It's the output (response) given a brief input (the impulse). For our purposes, the impulse is theoretically all frequencies in an instant. That way, when we send our arbitrary synth or vocals through the response, we know what the response would be given its specific frequency spectrum.

The impulse response (IR) is linear, meaning all values depend on all previous values. The IR values describe the frequency, phase relationship, and amplitude at any given time, so IRs can model reverbs and delays, but not compression.

So think of how you would describe a delay given a blip. You are going to replicate all frequencies of that blip at a later time, and do that again at regular intervals. So an easy rhythmic convolution is simply white noise at regular intervals (e.g., every 250 ms @ 120 BPM). Things get more interesting when you shape the frequency spectrum and amplitude, like that drum sequence described above. • edit the Source condition of the Web query to replace the string literal URL with myURL
• Convert the query URLfetch into a function. (Right click in the left query list) ->convert to function , call it fnURLfetch

Close power query (LOAD and CLOSE)

• you'd create an excel table as a "parameter table", containing the URL, building the full date etc

• Click inside that table and then we'll Power query FROM that parameter table - Power query editor opens again

Your save files are heavily corrupted and very difficult to recover, including the backup _old save.

I manually recovered some of the save data, and I have a version that's valid XML and should more-or-less work. Unfortunately the game just restarts with no feedback when you load it, so I can't tell what the remaining issues are. I'm guessing some of the missing data is confusing the game.

I attached the modified save in case you want to escalate to Stardew Valley Support. They might be able to debug to see what the remaining issues are if you explain what happened, and include your original saves and the modified version. I suspect they won't be able to help, though.

If the save is really important to you, it may be possible to reconstruct it. You'd need to start a new save, and then edit the new save file to manually merge in the important data (e.g. your items, furniture, friendships, etc).

Sorry I couldn't fully recover the save, and good luck getting it fixed. :)

No, I don't want you to do it but the solution you are providing doesn't answer my question. In your example what happens when I make the budget for the next period, March 20. I want it to now subtract March 20 total debt from March 13 total debt. When I make one for March 27 I want it to subtract March 27 total debt from March 20. And I don't want to have to update the tab names every week when I make a new tab.

Here is a similar example with a bi-monthly budget I do for our household bills.

Cell F25 shows our total debt. I would like a cell that shows the period over period difference in this number but without having to change the formula every month and I want it to show up in this tab and every subsequent tab I create. I don't see how the INDIRECT function does that.

  • this would TAG when a row is ready for emailing.
  • The advantage here, is that you can easily implement additional functionality outside of the VBA - for example to take another cell into account (date > today AND not already sent or date >= today AND not excluded from emails)

• I'd have the VBA FILL IN another column with the date/time of when the the email was actually sent. I'd take this value into account in the helper column above.

Made a silly mistake in the example sheet sorry.

I'd put $ signs around the ROW(A1) section of the formula at the end causing everything to go a bit funky.

I changed the following in cell C2 to fix it:

Helper columns are the way to go here.

My solution would be to do a COUNTIF helper column next to both sets of names.

Say the names from the IMMA sheet was in column A, the helper column (Column B) formula would be:

=COUNTIF(Worksheet1!A:A,A2)

Say the names from the Worksheet1 sheet are in column A, the helper column (Column B) formula would be:

=COUNTIF(IMMA!A:A,A2)

With these helper columns, we can now devise a list of duplicate entries.

In a new sheet, put the following in column A:

=INDEX(IMMA!A:A,SMALL(IF(IMMA!B:B=1,ROW(IMMA!A:A)),ROW(A1)))

and press ctrl+shift+enter. This is an array formula so it won't resolve properly without this step.

Drag the formula down until all the dupes have been found. You'll get a #NUM error when there are no more duplicates.

The match number (2) is held in cell G1 in the below formula:

This is an array formula, so you need to press ctrl+shift+enter after writing/copying/editing it. Doing so will wrap it all in {} brackets and ensure it resolves correctly.

The IFERROR function returns "" rather than a #num error when no more matches can be found. This makes the list look tidy as it can vary in length.

Notice how the data in Sheet1!A:A is aligned to the right of the cell and the data in Sheet2!B:B is left aligned?

The right aligned cells are seen as numerical values and the left aligned cells are seen as string/text by Excel. This means they won't be recognised as a match.

To solve this, you can convert Sheet1!A:A into text using the =TEXT() formula. So, =TEXT(A2,0) will return cell A2 in text form.

You should be able to paste the formula below into B2 on your example sheet and drag it down.

We don't want the company on the left because it's the least important metric to this report. The most important is the regional information and the users therein and the metrics for their utilization of the tool.

I was able to find a way to get the company names in the report, but the issue I had was it was no longer tracking those who didn't have any utilization, which is something we want to capture.

• I'd certainly throw this all into a pivot table with a bunch of slicers. (Slicer on orig city, dest city, Awarded alloc, Award type etc.)
• if you wanted multiple people to work on it - split the source into chunks with the same structure and provide the pivot table already setup so they can evaluate it.
• It's quite unclear to me still what you are looking for in the data...so help me...
• I'd let them capture the additional data enrichments (again I don't know what you do with the data) as a separate table as they go along which we subsequently merge into the main table. That could be in the form of additional columns on the end of the original source tables or simple additional tables tagged with LANE KEY or something)
