If you're playing the steam version:
I actually had some screenshots from SR3 on there that I had completely forgotten about if anyone wants to see them.
Yes, SR4 was in the Humble Jumbo Bundle 3.
It was also in the Indie Gala Saints Row Ultimate Franchise Pack Bundle. Both times as the highest tiers.
Oh yeah, there you do probably want to play offline. I'm a bit rusty at this, I haven't done it since Borderlands 2.
So basically, run Spotflux to trick Steam into opening the US page, play Saints Row for a few minutes, then change Steam into offline mode and keep playing!
EDIT: And you can turn Spotflux off once you've done this, it tends to lower your download speed considerably.
I have a question about this. Say I want to play some Dota 2 in a few days - can I log onto Australian servers again, and then simply unlock SR4 again with Spotflux? Something tells me I should just try and finish SR4 first to avoid territory swapping like crazy, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas.
For windowed borderless I use windowedborderlessgaming. They'll have instructions to follow on how to get it set up. Very simple.

As far as changing compatibility, you'll want to right click the game on steam, go into properties and browse local files. Find SR2_pc.exe and right click it and go to properties. Go to compatibility tab and check the box under "compatibility mode" and change to vista service pack 2. Hope that helps out. It didn't get rid of my crashing completely, but it made it to where it wasn't doing it once every hour.
At a guess, I'd say all you have to do is just drop it into:
\Steam\userdata[whatever your profile code is]\55230\remote
Here's the file anyway: https://www.mediafire.com/?e6725kywpkkuify
You won't be able to get achievement if you turn off the cheat the regular way, but you can manually re-enable the achievements. Here's how:
When your stocks look like this, your promises about things a year in the future aren't worth a whole lot: THQ Stock Value
Yes, there are extra steps needed if you want to use it in Movie Maker.
Download and install Audacity.
Run Audacity.
Go to "File" > "Open"
Open the .ogg file.
Go to "File" > "Export"
Choose your save location and save it. Make sure that the "Save as type " is "WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM"
Add the new .wav file into your movie maker. Make sure that it's the new .wav file you saved from Audacity, not the original .wav file you extracted from the bnk.
Are you able to listen to the .ogg files with your audio player? If you can't, you can install foobar2000 and listen to them first so you can choose which ones you want to convert for Movie Maker.
Not only that, but if it is the AU version it's incompatible with other versions. AKA no multiplayer.
Have them just gift you a steam card instead, and buy it yourself. Here, have a link that explains the process.
Some say vpn works but it doesn't for me I even changed my region and timezone to NZ and used NordVPN; researching I come to find that Epic Games detects VPN for problems with fortnite and the sales being cheaper in other countries so my guess is using a VPN that Epic doesn't detect but I just gave up at that point :( on a steam forum ''someone is already playing using vpn'' but i dont believe it because it gives no further proof. If you find something let me know, I still have 14 hours left lol
You can clearly see in the picture of the cover artwork that it says Xbox One under X Box Series X, so its compatible with both
Here, I’m sure you’ll need these, you seem like the person to start crying when they’re wrong.
Not sure if it's the problem. They have a 2GB minimum for SR3 and 4GB minimum for SR4, though they have 4GB recommended for both games which you already have.

I just got mine working.
I initially removed a bunch of extraneous virtual HID's that I had installed (unified remote). So I would advise making sure "Xbox One Controller" is the only device that x360ce picks up.
It took a bit of tweaking to find the right settings within x360ce too but the biggest difference between the original and remaster is 64 bit binaries.
Here is a zip file, dumping all of these in your "SaintsRowTheThird" directory should do the trick.

As for what field, when you get in the menu you see the community option, when you click on it you get pop-up menu to enter your username and password. On the password section you can't write any kind of symbol other then the following: . - @ Everything else, the field doesn't recognize.
While it's true that the PC port of SR2 is notoriously janky, the GOG.com version of it seems to run better than the Steam version, so if you're willing to try it out, I'd recommend the GOG.com version. I recently replayed the whole game (unmodded) and found it to be pretty stable on a mid-range PC running Win10. I'm not sure if GOG did something to their version that made it run smoothly, or if I just got lucky.
In either case, the Gentlemen of the Row mod is a solid recommendation, it enhances and stabilizes the game quite a bit.
Oh wow. I used to inhabit the forums on the old Saints Row site https://www.saintsrow.com/community/
I never saw anyone say that back then so didn't even think it was a thing. Of course, I may have missed the comments if they were there. Anyway, as I stated, you are correct. That's just a random person's grave that Shogo was buried in. Johnny would never disrespect Aisha by just dumping her body out on the ground like that.
For those interested, if you import your character from SR3 to SR4 through SR official website, you can get some outfits from SR3 that are not available in SR4 in any other way.
It’s really simple here’s the link https://www.vpn.net
It does say vpn but what it does it makes you and your friend in the same local server which fixes the saints row issue
All you have to do is after installation just click on the power button , make an account , tell your friend to do the same and then the host has to create a server in the hamachi app and then send the details to the friend so he can join it. After this you can go to saints row and after the session is done you can tell your friend to right click the server on hamachi and click on leave, then just tell him to join again when you play again.
You can pretend to be too stupid to understand what I'm saying, but I don't have the energy to play along.
Here, this might help though.

Been playing all night, just make sure Spotflux is running BEFORE you start Steam, enter your key then or accept your gift, preload/install then play to activate and do first playthrough. Then you either have to start Steam with Spotflux or in Offline mode to play it in future. At least until September 20 when it being unlocked on your account is not weird. Then we find out how badly the censorship goes and if we can even play it normally. Past experience says yes.
You need to use a VPN service such as Spotflux to redeem, preload and activate SR4. Also every time you run it unless you run Steam in offline mode. This thread has details -
